Kiko Milano Haul

kiko milano haul

So I finally bit the bullet and picked up some Kiko products, I am so glad the shops are now popping up everywhere as I always prefer so see makeup in person before taking the plunge. So over Easter I took advantage of the buy 3 get 3 free offer and got some great goodies. At the time of writing I haven’t given these a proper testing yet so this is literally a first impressions post.

kiko water eyeshadow in 201

The first thing I picked up which was the top of my list the Water Eyeshadow in 201 Rosy Taupe,  I love this colour as it is a perfect base colour or an all over colour. It seems pretty good wet or dry and should be nice to incorporate into my makeup.

kiko eyeshadows in 118 & 113

Although I love the range of colours offered I thought I would pick two colours that I would get a lot of use out of. The Eyeshadow in 118 Pearly Beige Silk a perfect lid and shimmery colour which I feel as though I will get a lot of uses out of it. I’ve been looking for the perfect inner corner/eyebrow highlight Eyeshadow in 130 Satin Beige Cream, despite been described as a satin it is definitely matte.

kiko infinity eyeshadow in 290

The final eyeshadow I picked up was from the infinity range the Infinity Eyeshadow in 290. Unfortunately I cannot find the name of the colour at the moment but it’s dark grey with a beautiful glitter/shimmer running through it.

kiko nail lacquer in 497 & 521

Finally I picked up two nail varnishes, Nail Lacquer in 497 Pearly Indian Violet and Nail Lacquer in 521 Pearly Ocean. Both are beautiful colours with the metallic/pearly sheen to them which I have been loving recently.

So that’s all for now and I will update you as and when I have tried the products. Have you tried Kiko Milano? What do you think of the products and what would you recommend.

Collective Haul February 2016

Just thought I would do a nice little collective haul of all the bits and pieces I have picked up recently, some as and when and others actually on shopping trips although there hasn’t been enough yet to do individual hauls so I just thought I would combine everything together.

ASDA:  If you’ve followed my blog for any period of time you’ll know that the Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer for Normal Skin  is pretty much essential to me, I use it daily either as a moisturiser or a moisturising primer. Perfect under makeup or on its one. Small bonus I picked it up on offer at half price (£2.50). The other thing I picked up from Asda were Cotton Wool Pads (£0.99), not that this needs much explanation I was running very low and it’s so easy to pick some up on the way to work. There’s not much to say other that I love the generous pack size.

Lush Bath Bombs

Lush: I’m not normally a lush person, with often incompetent staff and my allergies I tend not to find it worth the effort but with a crowded shop and armed with my phone for  the ingredients list so I know what I can have. I finally picked up the Dragons Egg Bath Bomb (£3.50) which I have wanted to try for ages and finally decided to go for it, it’s meant to be super pretty and I cannot wait to use it. The other one I picked up was one of the Valentines bath bombs and its super cute the Lover Lamp Bath Bomb (£3.95), I’ve seen its super cute so I will use it shortly.

paperchase postcards

Paperchase: I’ve tried to motivate myself to drink more and work out more so I those the Get Fit Stickers (£1.50) would be perfect to stick in my planner and tick them off. Although in fact they are super disappointing, I’m using them and there are loads of 5 a day which is great but only two water intake ones and all of the others. I love the little postcards to and I thought these would look perfect in the clear plastic wallet that is in the front of my planner, so picked up the two which were 70p each.

Tiger Toothbrush Cover

Tiger: I love shopping in Tiger and it takes a lot not to buy loads of stuff I don’t need but I managed to show restraint and only pick up a 4 Pack of Tooth Brush covers (£1.00). Not exciting I Know but these are perfect for travel, the little plastic tubes are not always best depending on the toothbrush these are great as they are universal.

Body Care Footpacks

Bodycare: Finally two small repurchases from body care. Both things I have mentioned many times which are the Argan Oil Foot Pack and the Botantical Choice Eye Puffiness Minimising patches.

So have you picked up anything good recently, let me know in the comments below.

Boots Essentials Haul

boots essentials

So I popped into Boots the other day and stocked up on all the boots essentials stuff with it all being in 3 for 2, it is so easy to go for 6 items plus it is all really affordable. Anyway this is what I picked up from Boots Essentials Range.

I haven’t tried either of these wipes yet but I picked up two different ones just to try, they are great for while you’re doing makeup or if I’m super lazy to take off makeup initially. I love the cucumber range so the Boots Essentials Refreshing Cucumber Cleansing Facial Wipes, so these will be great, the other ones I hope will be less drying than normal face wipes which is the Boots Essentials Moisturising Cleansing Facial Wipes. I’ll take one pack away with me for Easter as I know I might be lazier while away.

boots essentials cucumber facial wash

I am no means loyal with face wash and simply pick up what is easiest and seeing their was the offer I picked up the Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Wash, I’m obsessed with the cucumber scent so fresh and perfect to awaken the skin. As I now have the p.s love cleansing pad  I feel less of a need for exfoliating washes and that really cleanses the skin on its own.

The final 3 items are all about makeup removal, one of which I picked up for the break I’m going on soon although I’m not sure what skincare I am taking yet. Regardless of if I take them on the trip or not I think Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Makeup Remover Pads will be useful one way or another, hopefully they work and I will report back how I find them. Finally there were two repurchases which I have absolutely loved using as they are so refreshing and great at removing makeup, I really recommend checking them out the Boots Essentials Cucumber Creamy Cleanser and the Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Toner. I have used these every morning and evening and my skin has really noticed the difference although it may simply be because I’ve found a routine which works for me.

Have you tried the Boots Essentials products? What are you favourite budget friendly skincare items, let me know in the comments.

Bonus Boots Haul

Hi guys, I known I don’t usually post on a Sunday but as I missed a post earlier in the month I thought I would do a little bonus post today. I popped into Boots on Saturday just because and decided to get a few back up products for my stash as well as prices and offers being so good. Although I just ended up picking up a bunch of random bits.

Boots haul ft botanics and l'oreal

Boots had deals on all sorts of brands that if you spent £15.00 on that brand you could get a little gift set valuing around £30ish and as I wanted a new eyeliner and possibly a new mascara as a few of mine are on the way out.

L'oreal volume million lashes and infaillable

After always having good experiences with L’Oreal Mascaras i thought i would start there and ended up picking up the L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture (£9.99). Mainly for the purple packaging but i prefer plastic wands and volumising mascaras so this ticked both boxes.  I also need a new pencil eyeliner so I picked up the L’Oreal Infallible Eye Liner (£5.19), which I love the twist up as I hate sharpening eyeliners.

l'oreal paris feline fatale

As I’d spent over £15.00 I got the Feline Fatale set free which is meant to be worth £29. I have to say the set is fairly worth it despite receiving another eyeliner and mascara then I can stash them for later. In the set there was the Mega Volume 24h Collagene Mascara in Very Black, So Couture Super Liner in Black, Color Riche Eyeshadow Quad in Jungle Jade and Color Riche Nail Polish in Feline Sauvage. This is a really wearable and beautiful set and I look forward to digging into it.

boot botanics micellar water

One last non L’Oreal PAris product the Botanics Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution, which was on offer and once I’ve used up I’m such a hoarder.

Have you picked up anything good up in boots or any other shops recently, also have you picked up anything good in the Black Friday Sales?

Peterborough Haul

Peterborough

So if you’ve seen my Day in the Life: Girly Catch-up & Shopping Post you will know I spent a girly day shopping in Peterborough with a few friends and I thought I’d share the spoils of the day with you guys here.

H&M Stripped SweaterH&M Leggings

The first port of call was H&M I needed some new treggings/leggings as I’ve worn my last couple of pairs to death. I’ve never tried their Heavy Leggings (£7.99) before but they aren’t see through and I thought I would give them a go. If they are a dud I will go back to their treggings which are amazing. Also as we are getting into winter I wanted another slouchy relaxed jumper like this Stripped Relaxed Jumper (£9.99), it is super casual so you can slouch around the house. Also you can pair it with a leather jacket and some cute boots and wear it for a causal day out.

Primark Haul ft eyeliner and cami dress

You cannot go shopping without popping to Primark, although I haven’t brought many clothes recently as I’m trying to wear what I have instead of constantly buying clothes I will never wear. However, I did buy a new basic top a Grey Cami Dress (£3.00), I would never wear these as a dress but I prefer the longer length with leggings. These basics are perfect for layering at winter.

I always love the look of mixed, midi and stacked rings but I didn’t want to spend a huge amount until I knew that I liked the look and feel of wearing them. So I thought the Opia Silver Mixed Ring Pack (£2.50) would be a good place to start, Primark has loads of these cute sets I just prefer silver in my jewellery. I picked up another P.S. Love Egg Makeup Sponge (£1.50), these have transformed my makeup application and just make it so much smother and airbrushed looking. I was it every day, and buy a new one every ¾ months as they start to fall apart. I don’t know if the Real Techniques one to lasts longer, so let me know in the comments. The final thing I picked up was the P.S. Love Black Liquid Eyeliner (£1.00), this is actually a beautiful streak free and deep black eyeliner the only problem is I need to work on my liquid eyeliner skills.

Boots ft Rimmel and L'oreal

There were some great offers in Boots, first I needed some more Micellar Water I’ve tried and loved the L’Oreal and Ganier Micellar Water. However with the Boots app providing me £2.00 of L’Oreal Paris Skincare, it made sense to use buy the L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfection Micellar Water (£2.99). I needed a new concealer and primer and I ws comtemplating not repurchasing the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory for the 3rd time in a row but with it being on offer for 2 for £10.00 in made sense to repurchase it. I also picked up the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Primer which I have loved using a budget alternative to my bareMinerals Primer.

Superdrug ft my little starteddy cotton pads

Finally some essentials from Superdrug. I wanted to get some softer cotton wool pads so I thought I would go back to using the baby cotton wool pads, which has the bonus of having super cute teddy bears on the pads. I picked up two packs of My Little Star Small Square Cotton Wool Pads, retailing at £1.49 each but as they were buy one get one half price it made sense with such basics to buy two as you know that you will get the use out of both packs and save money. Also I repurchased the Carex Complete Strawberry Laces Hand Gel (£0.99), which smells like a Strawberry Daiquiri which is so refreshing and pleasant when you need to clean your hands.

So that’s what I picked up at my shopping trip in Peterborough, actually getting what I need which is a first especially when shopping with friends.

September/October Collective Haul

Who doesn’t love a bit of a haul? I was going to do a collective September Haul but with only a smallish feel unique haul which didn’t seem work it I thought it would be worth combining September and Octobers hauls together as I really haven’t been buying too much. I also apologise if you have seen some of these items in posts already, as I have used some of them as I brought them for particular reasons over September and October.

feel uniwue ft tanya burr

I think I actually ordered this at the end of August from Feel Unique but it didn’t arrive until the start of September and I missed the chance to put them in the collective August haul. I did pretty damn good though getting everything on sale plus an additional 10% off, I resisted going made and I only brought the things I actually need, as if I needed more makeup.

With Tanya Burrs new makeup or repackaged makeup being launched in August a lot of the older items were on sale, unfortunately the lashes I wanted had sold out. Probably because the packages are all being repackaged so £2.80 for Tanya Burr Lashes is a bloody steal, I also missed out of the lip glosses as the ones I wanted had gone but I picked up two nail polishes which I have been eyeing up for months, I owned two already and they are really great nail polishes. So I picked up the totally out of season but so pretty I’ll wear in anyway Tanya Burr Polish in Little Duck which actually went beautifully with my graduation outfit although in the end I went for flower detailed nails. The other nail polish I picked up was the Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Peaches & Cream, a lovely pinky nude some will consider it more summery but for me it’s a great all round nail polish. Both nail polishes were a bargain at £2.16 each.

I’ve been curious to pick up the Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadows for ages but the highly popular bronze shade, doesn’t fit in with what I tend to wear. However I felt the Maybelline New York Colour Tattoo 24hr Gel-Cream Eyeshadow in 65 Pink Gold (£3.81), would slip perfectly into my makeup collection and will work with everything in my collection either as a strong base or as part of an eye look. Now back to the world of Rimmel, who I seem to own a lot of makeup by concerning lips and face. I think it’s just because they just make such good product, does anyone else absolutely love Rimmel London or is it just me? I love my Rimmel East End Snob Lipliner for being long lasting and thought a second lip liner wouldn’t go a miss so I picked up the Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lipliner Pencil in Tiramisu (£2.01). I’ve tried some cheap, like proper cheap white and nude eyeliners but have found them to be a bit pants but with tired eyes from work I thought I’d try the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Kajal Line in Nude (£2.69) which has been recommended to me by quite a few people.

ASDA Diary and PEns

These are the only other two things I brought in September as I wanted to get more organised, and I prefer smaller diaries opposed to the cheap A4 counterpart I’ve barely used in months. I work close to an Asda and because they had their back to school range still in at the time it made sense to pop in on a lunch time. The Patterned Diary (£3.00) is one in which you write your own dates, although I have written it out until the end of the diary and its an 18month diary which I tend to prefer as I like the thickness (sounds odd I know). Then on the organised line I brought some asda own brand Coloured Fineliners (£1.00) so that I can colour code my events, things to do, blog things etc. and it really breaks up the pages.

Primark Scarf

So I wanted a little something to update my wardrobe for this Autumn/Winter without costing a fortune, so Primark was my first stop, as I have a lot of good winter basics and I love layering so I don’t need a huge amount of new clothes. I’ve kept thinking about getting a huge warm scarfs as you can use it as a blanket or it can keep you warm, especially on the commute as I drive to work and this time of year I don’t need a coat but you want something to keep you warm. So I picked up this super soft and big Tartan Scarf which only cost £5.00 I’m obsessed with it.

Macadamia Foot Pack

I’ve talked about foot packs before as they are one of the simplest, and least messy way to moisturises and treat your feet. I’m not loyal to any particular brand or one as I just pick up what’s there, this time I picked up two Macadamia Oil Extract Foot Pack (£0.99), which I’ve used before and I really love. Well worth trying out.

So that’s what I picked up over September/ October have you guys picked up anything good recently?

Collective August Haul

Collective August Haul

I really liked doing this for July and as I didn’t pick up that much over August this one again seemed like a nice little idea. So this is what I brought over the course of August there is a bit of something from everywhere.

Superdrug ft Nivea and Makeup Revolution

Superdrug

Although I am not on a no spend streak I am making a conscious effort to only buy what I need, and if you’ve read my blog at any point especially from the beginning I absolutely  love the Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer. I needed new one at lucky for me it was better than half price for £2.44 at Superdrug. I have been looking for the Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit in C01 Ultra Fair for absolutely ages and I finally managed to pick it up. I’m hoping to put it up against the Sleek Face Form palette soon, also if it’s a dud its £3.50 so I have nothing to loose.

Primark ft PS love

Primark

I managed to stop myself buying more clothes that I don’t actually need, showing some clear restraint clearly. I have been wearing pumps and heels daily for work so I needed pop socks. I hate paying loads for them and managed to pick up 3 Pairs of Supersoft Shoe Liners (£2.50) great socks and so inexpensive.

I picked up the P.S. Love Makeup Brush Cleanser (£2.00) for my mum, I use the good ol baby shampoo method but my never remembers to keep up with it and she doesn’t wear a huge amount of makeup. So I thought I’d make up the whole process simpler for her as the brush cleanser method is so easy. I’ve tried it with my brushes just to show her how to use it etc. and it’s really good so if you want an affordable brush cleanser keep an eye out for it. If you have read my August Favourites you will already have seen these, the Primark Natural Point False Nails (£1.00) are amazing. The pointed shape means they catch less, and I think they look so nice I even painted over the top and these looked amazing. I think I will pick up more and I hope they do this shape in other patterns.

Completely random but I picked up the Metalic tattoos (£1.50), which aren’t actually matalic but I thought they looked cute although I’ll probably save them for next year’s festival season. Also as I have anxiety when travelling I used to write on myself positive sayings and I think these might do the same thing just something to focus on. Finally from Primark was a complete impulse at the till buy but it was something I actually needed which was the P.S. Love Anti-bac Hand Gel, I have one in my car, one on my desk where I do my makeup and a final one in my hand bag. This one was only £0.60, so I can’t really go wrong with.

Poundland ft Calvin Klein

Poundland

I love Poundland for looking at brand named makeup for £1.00. First up are two Calvin Kline Lip-glosses, I’m not usually one for pot lip glosses but these look so cute in the pot and aren’t colours that I have as much in my collection. Calvin Klein Ultimate Edge Lip Gloss in Bubblegum looks like a baby pink but it is simply a sheer was of gloss so it is a great staple in my collection either to have as a normal plain gloss or add to make a matte lip glossy. While the second one, Calvin Klein Ultimate Edge Lip Gloss in Shades of Pink, is more of a berry pink and is a nice sheer wash which I definitely feel more for the autumn.

poundland ft eyelure

You know when you buy something that is a bargain without ever been sure if you will ever use it but the offer is too much to resist, well I picked up a set of Eyelure Double Lashes. I haven’t got on with false eyelashes in the past but I’ve never tried eyelure but they are always well rated and the price was too much to pass up. I’m sure if I don’t get on with them one of my friends will happily take them off me.

Finally I picked up a hand pack, my hands have been feeling dry lately and I love the foot packs, I’ve tried a few hand packs in the past. I haven’t tried the Tea Tree and Peppermint Hand Pack before but I love the foot pack version. These are super convenient to as they come as plastic gloves you can still do everything while wearing them, so I can take the time out to blog.

B&M

I went into B&M for something else and came out with the Dove Soft Feel Deodorant (£0.99), it was a good price and I’m so not fussy about what deodorant I use. I thought I would switch over to the roller ball type as apparently they work much better, no harm in trying.

Asda

I popped into Asda near my work to pick up lunch and as I needed a few bits I perused the health and beauty isles as they sometimes can have some really great offers. My current face wash is almost out and I was curious to try something new so I picked up the Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash for only £2.00 on offer, I love Nivea products they are usually great for my skin. It is the version for dry skin, and as I have combination dry I didn’t see the harm in picking this one. I also visited my sister for the weekend and I didn’t want to just use face wipes as I knew I was going to do some major eye makeup. I love my Ganier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water, so picked up the travel version at only £1.00 it’s also great as once it’s done I could top up with my big bottle, I doubt I will but it’s possible. (sorry for the lack of photo)

tesco ft wilkinsons

Tesco

The last few bits of August I picked up at Tesco while getting gorceries. I usually prefer the large oval baby cotton pads or boots double faced cotton pads but as I really needed some more I picked up the Tesco Everyday Value 80 Cotton Pads (£0.55), if they are dud it doesn’t matter and I’ll use them for removing nail varnish. Speaking of removing nail varnish I also got the Tesco Beauty Nail Polish Remover (£1.20), I just grab whatever’s available for nail varnish remover when I need it and this ones not bad.

I brought some cheap Tesco razors which were a bit crap so went to look at getting some new ones when I saw the Wilkinson Sword Quattro for Women Papaya and Pearl Complex Razors down at half price for £2.74. You get the ones with Aloe Vera and thought these were interesting and Wilkinson’s razors are usually really good.

So those are the bits I picked up over August, did you guys pick up any good buys over August?

June Collective Haul

So I done dribs and drabs of shopping over the month so I thought I’d do a collective haul this month, that and most my favourites are the same as last months that post seemed a little bit redundant to me. So in the place I feel as though a haul is definitely appropriate as who doesn’t love a good haul.

primark

Primark

Primark seems to be a hit and miss at the moment and so often when there is something I like its not in my size primark should really be online. However, with material and sizes been hit and miss online might be a pain in the arse, any way from the tangent and back to the haul. First up I brought the Control Leggings in Black, I brought a patterned pair previously and they are so amazing especially as they are thicker than the normal leggings. They don’t make you loose weight but they hold in wibbly bits ect. I’m thinking of reviewing them in a little more detail at some point. Another essential I brought is the Nude Footsies which are cheaper at Primark than anywhere else at 5 pairs for £2.50 which is amazing value for money, perfect for work and wearing heels/ballet pumps as you have the comfort of socks without being able to see them.

I am hopefully getting a car soon, so with this in mind I picked up a cheap pair of Sunglasses for £1.00 just to keep in my car as if you drive you know its important. In the summer I usually have sunglasses with me but you need them all year and just keeping a pair in the car will be useful. Along this line I also picked up the primark exclusive Cuticura Sparking Fruits Hand Gel, which is a deliciously fresh fruit scent which will either go in my bag or my car when I get one. And finally I picked up as a complete impulse as I love miniature versions of everything, I picked up the Gillette Satin Care Pure and Delicate Shave Gel. I suppose it won’t go to waste as I will use it one way or another.

Boots Double Face Cotton Pads

Boots

Just one thing from Boots this time, I seem to feel very uninspired by makeup recently and have no interest in the displays in stores at the moment. So I came out with my bank balance intact after only picking up a new pack of Boots Cotton Wool Double Faced Round Pads, two different faces on the pads and it has really kicked up my skincare routine up a notch. Unfortunately they weren’t on their usual buy one get one free deal so I just picked up one this time.

H&M Navy Dress

H&M

This I think has to be my favourite items that I have brought this month as it is so flattering and was a bargain, £15.00 down from £29.99. The colour and style means it can really be worn any time of wear on its own or with leggings or tights, and fits multiple situations from smart causal to even work depending what your job attire constitutes of. The filly detail is cute but isn’t to over the top or too girly and definately just works. I know just want to find a nice occasion in which to wear it.

So have you guys brought anything good this month? Do you like the summer trends this year or are you giving them a miss and digging out last years stuff. Let me know in the comments.

Superdrug Haul (Again)

Superdrug Haul ft rimmel and barry m

Once again I fell victim to offers in Superdrug and couldn’t resist it. So Superdrug did the 3 for 2 across makeup as well as the get 3 items and get a make up bag, I took full advantage of the 3 for 2 but I didn’t see the point in getting 3 makeup bags simply because I don’t need two identical makeup bags. Also I’m 21 the ‘#makeup’ has minimum appeal to me really. Also the cashier was lovely wanting to scan the items so I got the most out of it all in all saving me £11.99 taking my total from £35.45 to £23.46 so I love her for that. So anyway on to what I brought.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Skin Perfecting Full Coverage Foundation in 010 Light Porcelain: I love a full coverage foundation and I thought I’d give this ago I love Rimmel Foundations especially the wake me up the foundation. I know it seems crazy that I am opting for a full coverage foundation in the summer but it will be great for interviews to have a perfectly made up face as its a perfect colour it won’t look like heavy make up. I also Love how rimmel goes so light with shades. RRP: £7.99.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Concealer in 010 Porcelain: I always want to try new concealers and this ones is slightly different to the normal doe foot or brush type concealers and I was curious. I think I originally saw it on Vivianna Does Makeup Channel on youtube, so it makes you more curious than simply seeing it online. RRP £5.49.

Rimmel London BB Cream 9-in-1 in Very Light: I wasn’t sure which BB to go for this one or the radiance one which I suppose will be similar to the wake me up foundation line but I went for this. I also love that rimmel do a very light bb cream as often the shade light is not usually light enough so I was so excited for this. RRP £6.99.

Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro Primer: This was recommended to me ages ago by someone (if it was you I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten) but I wanted to wait until I used up my baby skin primers were used or almost used up. This is more of a cream texture opposed to some of the silicon primers I have used in the past but I’m excited to try this and see how it fits especially as I have normal to dry skin this may be great for me. RRP £6.99.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint in 450 Eat Me Dust: I really wanted some pretty pastel colours for spring/summer and I fell in love with this pretty pale blue, I think I may of also seen this on vivanna’s youtube too. I absolutely love it and I think I’m going to get a lot of use out of it this summer. RRP £3.99.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint in 503 Kiss Me Quick: Another pretty pastel in time for summer, I love pretty pink pastels as they are a great mix of nude and summery colours. I think I will also get loads of use out of this one. RRP £3.99.

Luckily I didn’t come out of superdrug with too much that I didn’t need and I’m excited to try it all out, I aim to do a review of a few of the items especially the bb cream as it is ideal for summer.

Random Haul

Shopping bags isolated on the white background

So I went shopping earlier in the week and picked up a few bits form all over and a bunch of stuff from Primark. So this is a bit of a collective haul and I will upload the Primark haul next Friday as I have a review planned for next Tuesday. Anyway here’s a mixed bag of a haul from a number of shops.

Wilkinsons

wilko

It always seems that everyone forgets how cheap Wilkinsons can be for basic beauty bits especially for the likes of razors ect and they are always in town centers and have everything. After a recommendation from my boyfriends sister I picked up the Veet Face Precision Wax and Care Kit (£7.98), which is cheaper at Wilkinsons than everywhere else, my review of it will be up on Tuesday. I accidentally left my razors at university so I needed some new ones to use for the moment so I picked up Gillette Simply Venus Razors (£1.25), I’m not too fussy with razors and I’ve used these in the past and always liked them. Simply really as long as the razor does the job I’m happy. Finally I picked up two bath bombs from the Wilkinsons own Fruits line, I picked up one Fruits Bath Bomb in Strawberry and Pomegranate (£0.95) and a Fruits Bath Bomb in Rhubarb and Vanilla (£0.95, not pictured). I’ve already used the Rhubard and Vanilla one, they don’t change the colour of the water or anything but it smells amazing and still creates a nice bath.

Bodycare

eye patches

I love Bodycare shops its just a shame they are only in a limited number of places, I only picked up the one thing this time the Purederm Botanical Choice Dark Circle Reducer Eye Patches (£1.79). I just always wanted to try these type of thing for ages but they always tend to be so expensive but I saw these and just thought I had nothing to loose. I’ve give them a little go and they feel absolutely amazing although I’m not sure of the results as of yet.

Boots

elegant touch

As I’m trying to cut down on buying makeup I dont need I managed to show a lot of restraint, yet they had a clearance section that I just couldn’t resist. I picked up Elegant Touch Express Press-on Instant Manicure in Jewel Washed Teal (£7.99 £1.50) and Elegant Touch Express Press-on Manicure in Jewel Washed Blue although they are just plain it just seemed too good to pass up as you can wear them whenever and they are both great colours for spring/summer.

H&M

HM bags

Finally I got a Small Shoulder Bag from H&M as I just need something for going out just to put in keys, purse and phone it, mainly for gigs and stuff. Its just a perfect size plus it was on sale down to £4.00 from £7.99 so I just couldn’t resist.

Have you guys brought anything good recently, let me know down below.

Love
