Day 11: Brand Focus TRESemme

I kind of wanted to do a brand focus post and look at a hair post and thus this came about, I always use tresseme I’ve tried other products in the past but no other brand or product has even come close. So I thought I’d tell you what I use and the general low down about the product.

(TRESemme Salon Silk Shampoo and Conditioner)

TRESemme Salon Silk shampoo and conditioner are my go to out of all the types, I love that TRESemme smell and the fact they all have similar fragrances so they compliment each other and none of it is over powering. The salon silk variety works wonders for my hair after using it my hair is so soft and silky and it tames my natural frizzyness so I would totally recommend. buying them. I know when you look at TRESemme in the supermarket they can seem expensive but the bottles are massive and last ages, there is also bound to be a product for all types of hair they have: salon silk; moisture rich; colour revitalise; vitamin C and many more. I always buy the big 900ml bottles but there is a huge variety in the 500ml so you are bound to find one that suits you and your hair. Tresemme is avaiable at Boots, Superdrug and all Supermarkets, the 900ml bottles retail at £4.99 per bottle the smaller bottles are cheaper and TRESemme is often and offer in one place or another. The TRESemme offers are great value and I always stock up on what I need when on offer.

(TRESemme Colour Revitalise Treatment Masque)

I brought this when I used to dye my hair frequently and my hair got very damaged this totally rescued it when I used it once a week. This is my first pot at it has lasted almost a year now and I still use it once a month and it works wonders despite having my colour grown out so its definately worth checking out even if your hair isn’t dyed but if it is this is a must have. You can leave this on for 5 minutes while your in the shower but you can leave it on longer. Now that I only use it ever so often I leave it on longer, I usually warm up a towel on a radiator before going in the shower, wash my hair with shampoo then towel dry the worse off the damp off, before rubbing this into the lower half of my hair covering with the shower cap and then wrapping in the warm towel and I sit and relax for 15/20 minutes. It works wonders I cannot do it justice to how great this product is. Available at Boots, Superdrug and Supermarkets, usually priced at £4.99.

(TRESemme Heat Defence Spray)

I cannot even begin to count how many times I have repurchased this product over the past 5 years and I know youtubers/bloggers like Tanya Burr highly rate this one. It does exactly as its meant to which is always what you want in a product. It sprays on so easily and I put it on each layer before I straighten it, it also has a little clip to lock it so it doesn’t leak or spray all over stuff when your travelling or in your draw. Also a small bonus it includes a UV filter so not only protects your hair from harmful UV sun rays so it protects it in both respects. It lasts forever too so don’t hesitate to pick it up. Available from Boots, Superdrug and supermarkets usually about £3.50.

(Silk Shine Straightener)

This I used to use all the time but haven’t touched it in months so I may try it again this summer. You simply put a small amount on your hands and rub it into wet hair before blow drying your hair semi straight. The only issue is that sometimes its hard to get the quantities right so it can become slightly greasy or if you don’t fully dry your hair it just goes horrible. So even though it kind of works its not worth the effort. Available at Superdrug, Boots and Supermarkets.

I also love the the freeze hold hairspray but I gave the last of it to my boyfriend and haven’t yet been able to pick up another bottle. It holds amazingly, I’m aware some people moan about the large size of the bottle I never found it to be an issue but it is extremely large and can be difficult.

What TRESemme and hair care products do you love? What do I need to try and what ones should I avoid.
