Today I thought I would do a slightly different ‘what’s in my bag’ post although you can check out my previous what’s in my bag posts here. I don’t know about anyone else but in my glove box I have a little makeup bag filled with all the useful bits that could be in your car although they aren’t essential, I am however so grateful for this little bag as it’s proved so useful and maybe this will inspire you to do this yourself.
Pretty much all of my essentials stay in this small Revlon makeup bag which I feel as though I have had for ages, it’s the perfect size for my glove box and helps keep everything together in case I need it. First up is my favourite item in here my Hello Kitty Plasters Tin, which still has the hello kitty plasters in it. My mum picked it up super cheap as a jokey gift but its practical to keep them in the tin and I kind of love them, you know people are jealous when I rock my hello kitty bandaged finger. It’s also great for shoes that rub etc. and as I nearly always forget to restock the ones in my handbag it’s handy to keep some in the car. Another must is tissues, the ones I have are just from Superdrug and are handy for anything I always have tissues in my bag anyway but they are handy for passengers or just in case I run out.
Always wanted but never to hand, I always make sure I have some sort of pain killer in my car, I currently have Ibuprofen. Just a handy thing to have really and my friends are always grateful. Finally in my little bag is some Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel, I love this stuff and always keep some in my bag, desk and dressing table and the car is another useful place. Whether you need to freshen up or want to eat on the go hand gel is great for ensuring your hands are clean and fresh.
The things that couldn’t fit into my bag but thought were worth mentioning are Primark’s Sunglasses a much needed essential all year round, and possibly more so in winter with the bright sun, frost and glare. These however, stay at the driver’s side so they are within easy reach at all times. Also simply because it is so big, I have some Pampers Natural Clean Baby Wipes, perfect for cleaning your hands, clearing up messes and even to freshen up if needs be. The baby wipes either stay in the glove box or occasionally move to a door compartment in the bag of the car.
