July Favourites

July Favourites ft Barry M, Rimmel, Freedom, Kiko

It’s almost the end of the month which means that is favourites time again, I would do the typical blogging monthly favourites kind of thing but in all honesty, I feel too lazy this month so let’s get on with it.

July Favourites ft Rimmel & Barry M

I think my co-workers must think I am developing an obsession with yellow, as since July 1st right through the month I have worn nothing but yellow nail polish as a little nod to my favourite sporting event the Tour De France. I’ve used a combination of Barry M Coconut Infusion Gel Nail Paint in 707 Lemonade and Rimmel London 60s Nail Paint in 432 Chin Up Buttercup, and my go to way round is to have Lemonade as my base colour with the slightly darker/bolder Chin Up Buttercup as my feature nail. Just a subtle nod that only I am aware of.

July Favourites ft Catrice, Freedom & Kiko Milano

Now onto the makeup I have been loving this month, I have been keeping it fairly light mainly concealer, bronzer and eyes keeping a fresh face look for summer. It’s not simply for embracing summer, I just find the fresh face look works for summer as my face is not melting. To add definition but nothing too much I have loved the subtle combination of Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow in 201 Rosy Taupe on the lid, and adding Catrice Eyeshadow in Touch of Rose for some definition. Super subtle, but summery and light. Despite using less makeup I’ve been loving doing my brows with the Freedom Eyebrow Duo in Medium Brown, which I reviewed earlier this month and you can see my full verdict here if you wish to know more.

To finish off the minimal makeup, I have found that I’ve been enjoying the George Tint N Pout Tinted Lip Oil in 01 Barely There, initially I wasn’t sold on this which you can see the review I did a few months back. The non-heavy, non-committal nature of this lip product though meant I could top up through the day as much or as little as I want to, keeping my lips hydrated and my look fresh with not a huge amount of effort or thought. (Sorry not pictured I only realised at the point of scheduling).

So that is what I have been loving this month, what have you been loving throughout July let me know in the comments as I love checking out new goodies.

July Collective Haul

As July winds down, it means just one thing its time for my monthly haul and favourites (which will be up Friday), lets delve into all of the goodies that I picked up this month

July Collective Haul - Collection Concealer & Rimmel Nail Polish

Asda: Asda, the one stop shop for all my essential and not so essential makeup items. I probably pick up more than hauled but it’s when I remember. As always, I picked up another Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair 01 (£4.19), one day I may try something new again but not just yet. I was also on a mission the end of June/start of July to find a fun yellow nail polish, to embrace summer and have some mini Tour de France support and the first yellow shade I found was the Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish in 452 Chin Up Buttercup (£2.99). It’s a supper fun, and bright yellow and although I prefer the one I found shortly after I’m glad I have this to mix up my nail polish collection.

July Collective Haul - Barry M

Boots: For the first time in a while I’ve shopped in Boots mainly because I don’t get into town much these days, there is a very small Boots near my work but it’s not worth shopping in as it holds very few lines. As I knew what I wanted I ordered online and picked up in store for free. I wanted a few Barry M items and with a 3 for 2 offer at the time I simply couldn’t resist. He main reason for the order was this delightful pastel yellow shade Barry M Coconut Infusion Gel Nail Paint in 707 Lemonade (£4.99), a perfect shade to embrace summer and my love of the Tour De France. I picked up another of the coconut infusion range as my “free item” , choosing the Barry M Coconut Infusion Gel Nail Paint in 714 Aloha (£4.99) which I felt was so fun and summary I just couldn’t resist and I love Barry M Nail Polishes. A summer must have for me is a setting spray, so I thought I would give the Barry M Flawless Mist & Fix Makeup Setting Spray Matte Finish (£4.99) its affordable and a matte finish is always a winner so I will put it to the test shortly.

The Body Shop: Once again in July The Body Shop did there 40% off everything including sale items, so with my mum we both purchased a few bits. This time all I wanted was a few more body sorbets and I simply couldn’t resist these delicious summer scents. I cannot wait to start using the The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Sorbet (£3.10) and The Body Shop Pinta Colada Body Sorbet (£3.10)

So, those are the bits I picked up over the course of July, did you guys get anything good? I’m planning to check out the summer sales shortly so August may be a shopper happy month.

Empties #16

So I’m back and what is a better way to do it than with the good ol faithful empties post, the bag was just getting in the way so it seemed like the right sort of time to do a new post. So what have I used up in the past few months.

The Crème Shop Drink Up, Skin! Sheet Masks: In case you missed my review on these masks, I love these masks, so hydrating and fun. Would I repurchase: definitely!

Boots Simply Sensitive Gentle Micellar Water: Who doesn’t love a good micellar water, the lazy girls dream product. This was gentle and refreshing, I really enjoyed using it you can find my full review for it here . Would I repurchase: yes.

Boots Essentials Cucumber Cleansing Lotion and Facial Toner: These appear up in a few empties posts, I love these for removing makeup and simple skincare. I always repurchase these time after time, as they are great to have as part of an affordable skincare routine. Would I repurchase: yes.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer: Just another empties with another wake me up concealer, a great brightening concealer. Would I repurchase: yes.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: I switched out my ol faithful wake me up concealer for the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and I have to say I don’t know why I stopped using it while the wake me up mainly brightens the lasting perfection concealer hides everything. Would I repurchase: yes.

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Super-Blur Imperfections Eraser: When I swatched this in Boots and was amazed, then when I ended up actually using it this actually sucked. On top of that it ended up being done so quickly it’s insane, so this was a complete dub another soap and glory makeup item I am unimpressed with. Would I repurchase: definitely not.

Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob: This is my all-time favourite lip liner, a perfect your lips but better colour I always have one on hand and it’s the only lip product I’ve ever repurchased. You can see it on with swatches in my review here. Would I repurchase: always.

The Body Shop Mango Body Scrub: We all love a body scrub and with a sugar scrub texture it definitely scrubs and clears up skin cells well but I have to say the scent is underwhelming. Unlike other Body Shop scents it is barely there and I don’t expect this from their products, so maybe pick up one of their other ones. Would I repurchase: Unlikely.

The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel: who doesn’t love a nice smelling shower gel? This is still from my birthday goodies in March, I’ve just got to wait until Christmas to stock up on more body shop products. Would I repurchase: yes.

Nivea Crème Coconut Shower Cream: I’m not sure there is ever much to say about a shower gel but this one smells amazing and is a nice change. Would I repurchase: why not.

 empties-the-skin-system-cocoa-body-butter

The Skin Systems Cocoa Body Butter: this was picked up on a whim in Asda when I saw it was super cheap on offer and im so glad I did. It’s thick and creamy but soaks in quickly and I love the smell of cocoa butter, a pleasant sent that’s not too over powering. Would I repurchase: definitely.

So that’s everything and into the recycling they go, never forget to recycle. So have you guys used or tried anything good recently let me know in the comments I love to try new things.

Feel Unique Sales Haul

feel-unique-sales-haul-ft-fluer-de-force-elegant-touch-rimmelSeptember is when you can pick up some of the best sale items and I couldn’t help myself pick up a few things from Feel Unique, I managed to stay away from pricier items to save my money for other items.

nxy-soft-lip-cream-in-20-copenhagenrimmel-london-moisture-renew-lip-liner

So let’s start with the lips, if you saw my lipstick diaries post from Tuesday you’ll know I like to stay in my comfort zone and my first purchase is me trying to break out with a bold, dark colour and trying NYX at the same time. So I got the NXY Soft Lip Cream in 20 Copenhagen (£5.50), this is perfect for Autumn and I cannot wait to give it a go and see if I can embrace the bold lips. I kept wondering about getting an all-purpose lip liner and the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner (£3.99 £2.99) seemed perfect, cannot wait to see if it works wonders.

fluer-de-force-eyeshadow-quad-in-020-lunar-rose

I need another pallet like I need a whole in the head but I have always been curious to try Fluer’s Makeup and the offer was too good to pass up. Only the Fluer De Force Eyeshadow Quad in 020 Lunar Rose (£7.99 £2.40), was reduced but it is such a wearable pallet and i cannot wait to put it to the test.

In the summer I was obsessed with Primarks Nails and sometimes I missed wearing my own polishes but some would look better on a longer nail so I thought I would try the Elegant Touch Totally Bare Short Stiletto (£4.65 £3.45). You never know I might even try nail art . . Finally was an essential purchase as I am all out of body scrub, and I’m loving cocoa butter products at the moment so I couldn’t resist the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Cocoa Body Scrub (£4.99 £3.74). Also if I like it it’s such an affordable and easily affordable product.

Overall I don’t think that I did too bad and I picked up a lot of savings, on top of the £9.04 made on picking sales items I also got a random £0.55 discount and used my Pick n Mix Voucher the final order came to £13.58! Insane isn’t it? and I’m so pleased with all of my purchases I cannot wait to try them out. Let me know what you would like to see reviewed in the comments.

June Favourites

June Favourites ft rimmel, ck, kiko and maybelline

How on earth are we halfway through 2016 already, it seems like no time since I was writing my 2015 favourites. So we are back round to my monthly favourites in the blink of an eye, its insane really. Speaking of favourites if you would like to see my top 5 palettes which I did earlier this month, check it out here.

So we start off with something I was not necessarily sure about when I initially purchased it, the Maybelline New York Color Show Blush Em! The colour pay off wasn’t what I wanted but actually when I gave it a second chance by putting it in my makeup bag to force me to retry it I found myself in love with it. This blush gives me a super pretty, subtle flush of the cheek and it is perfect in the summer.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory and Maybelline Color Show Blush Em!

Although the English weather has been pretty variable this month I have been trying to get into the summer spirit with lighter more dewy makeup, many of these can be seen in my “What’s in My Makeup Bag”. There is one product though which I feel though never gets enough praise the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer, it’s a perfect brightening under eye concealer and I always repurchase it.

Pixi by Petra Mesmerising Mineral Palette in Plum Quartz and Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow in 201

I’m definitely on a pretty pink thing and I attempt to embrace summer and for the past two weeks I’ve been intensely in love with these two items. I have loved creating a subtle pastel pink look with the Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow in 201 Rosy Taupe and building it up with the Pixi by Petra Mesmerising Minerals Palette in Plum Quartz. I love creating a pretty pink look that is summery, delicate and natural.

Calvin Klien Ultimate Edge Lip Gloss in Bubble Gum and Shades of Pink

Finally a more summary lip option, I’m finally back into light and glossy summery lips so I have two lip glosses I have been reaching for this month the Calvin Klien Ultimate Edge Lip Glosses in Shades of Pink and Bubble Gum. I am loving a simple no effort gloss, bubble gum is simply a gloss so I can add it to whatever I am wearing or just rock the subtle all natural gloss and glowing look. Shades of Pink however, it a deeper pink which is nice as it add a touch of colour but isn’t overly powerful making it more of a pretty in pink look. I keep these in my bag and it’s so easy to touch up over the course of the day.

So those are my June favourites, what have you been loving this month let me know in the comments.

Whats In My Makeup Bag?

whats in my makeup bag.jpg

I don’t know if I’ve ever done a “What’s in my Makeup Bag” post for general day to day, although I have done them for travel which you can check out here. So I thought I would show you what is currently in my makeup bag and what I have been wearing day to day as well as a quick look at my everyday makeup as we start to get into summer. Or look see my previous makeup looks here.

So let’s start with my makeup bag, I picked this up from Primark the end of last year. It’s such a good size for travel and every day and I prefer the envelope style as its way easier to pack or take with me places. Although I have my makeup all stored near to where I do my makeup, the bag provides focus and the ability to take everything with me easily.

So let’s start with the base, as the weather gets warmer I have been going for a lighter makeup routine and the pieces in my makeup bag reflect this fact. So these are the key products I have been building my light, natural fresh looking summer look from.

whats in my makeup bag ft bareminerals, nivea and maybelline

Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer ● Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer ● bareMinerals Original Foundation in N10 Fairly Light ● Maybellene New York Color Show Blush Em!

whats in my makeup bag ft no 7, kiko and urban decay

Urban Decay Primer Potion  ● No 7 Mini Eyshadow Palette  ● Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow in 201  ● Kiko Milano Eyeshadow in 130  ● Kiko Milano Eyeshadow in 118  ● L’Oreal Paris So Couture Super Liner  ● L’Oreal Paris So Couture Volume Million Lashes

whats in my makeup bag ft rimmel, ysl

YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in Lush Coconut  ● Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 102 Nova  ● purminerals lip gloss in flirt

So this is everything I have been reaching for the past month or so, what have you been loving? Are you going lighter for summer or are you embracing colour and bright?

Empties #14

I thought I would space out my empties and ended up with way too much crap building up, hopefully I will eventually find a balance some day

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch in 001 Flush of Pearl: Finally finished this, and the lack of use was simply down to the fact I’m useless at remembering to use it on at the right time. This was great to adding a little bit of dimension to the skin and a subtle highlight, adding a lot to a simple makeup look. In future though I may pick one with slightly more colour to it. Would I repurchase: possibly.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer: I feel as though this has been in more than enough empties now, I think it is my most repurchased concealer it’s amazing. Would I repurchase: I already have.

Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation in 010 Light Porcelain: This has been featured in a previous empties, and I have enjoyed match perfection as a foundation as it offers a good level of coverage. However I have since found foundations I prefer so I may not repurchase it again.

BareMinerals Prime Time Original Primer: I love this primer, I used it sparingly the past few months as I didn’t want it to be finished. It just leaves my face so smooth and ready for makeup, as well as helping it last all day. Would I repurchase: highly likely.

Boots Essentials Cucumber Cleansing Lotion and Toner: I’ve paired these together as it doesn’t make sense not to, I’ve already repurchased these as I love it and it’s really helped me stick to a routine as well as improve my skin. I use them both every morning and evening, leaving my skin clean and clear. Would I repurchase: yes!

Boots Botantics Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution All Bright: I love to try out different cleansing waters and this was no exception. If you want to know more about it, check out my full review here. Would I repurchase: possibly.

Boots Essentials Refreshing Cucumber Cleansing Wipes: I’m not a huge makeup wipe user but they are great for using as a pre-cleanse or as a last resort. These are really nice wipes they smell and feel really refreshing and I feel like they go a good job at removing makeup. Would I repurchase: yes.

Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash: This has been mentioned several times on my body, it was an essential part of my morning skincare routine. Deeply cleansing and clearing, but it doesn’t strip your face of moisture, well worth trying if you have dry or sensitive skin. Would I repurchase: yes

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter: I’ve mentioned many times how much I love the scent of the Green Tea range so I won’t go on about the amazing scent. This was thinner than some of the other body butters I have tried, so not as deeply hydrating but it definitely soaked into the skin quicker so it really depends what you are after. Would I repurchase: highly likely.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub: I love a good body scrub and this one was lovely, a deep but gentle scrub. It isn’t as gritty as some of the others so feels great on wherever you use it. Would I repurchase: definitely.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash: I feel as though there is not a huge amount to say about a body wash, but this was lovely and refreshing in the morning. Would I repurchase: yes.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Sachet: Sometimes I just love a hair mask and I really enjoyed this Aussie one, opposed to leaving it for 3 minutes I left it longer. I like massage the mask into the ends of my hair clip it up and use a face mask or chill for 10/20 minutes and my hair feels so nice. Would I repurchase: yes.

TRESemme Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo: I rarely use dry shampoo, so it’s taken me forever to use this one up but you can read my review of it here (LINK). Would I repurchase: yes.

V05 Revive Me Daily Shampoo and Conditioner: I used these as my post swim shampoo and conditioner at the gym, so although they haven’t left my hair silky smooth and I use a hair oil too, But it really cleans out the chlorine. The V05 range smells nice too, which is always a plus with shampoo and conditioner. Would I repurchase: meh, maybe.

Superdrug My Little Star Baby Shampoo: I use baby shampoo to clean my makeup brushes, and I’ve found the superdrug one is identical to J&J only cheaper. It is gentle on the brushes but leaves them nice and clean again cleaning off all the crap. Would I repurchase: yes.

I hope you enjoyed this round of empties, I have a whole section dedicate them so if you are just nosy or want to read some mini reviews look in the tabs above or click the link here to see the previous 13 empties. What products are you loving at the moment? What do you always repurchase?

Top 5 Lip Products Under £5.00

Top 5 lip products

I thought I would start to do a bunch of top 5s, sharing the top 5 makeup products within a certain category although the schedule and frequency of the posts yet. Here we look at my favourite lip products that are all under £5, as who doesn’t like to look good on a budget. I feel like all of these have been mentioned before, but here is me declaring my love for them

P.s. Love Matte Long Lasting Lipstick in Whisper

First up is one that initially I had a love hate relationship with loving the colour but often finding it drying. That is the P.S. Love Matte Long Last Lipstick in Whisper, which you can see my full review here it is a muted purple pink and is a great neutral colour with a little bit of a oomph. It works well with a range of makeup looks and as long as you moisturise before and after you will be fine. Available from Primark for £1.00.

mua lipstick in14 bare

Staying in line with neutral we now have the ultimate everyday nude, the Makeup Academy Lipstick in 14 Bare. Rich, creamy and opaque this lipstick is a dream to apply and wear, with only minor touch ups every couple of hours if you wish but due to the nature of the colour and the fact it fades evenly meaning you don’t have to touch up. I also love MUA lipsticks as they have a great formula and a really affordable price point they are great for trying new things out. Available from Superdrug and online for £1.00.

Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob

I’m going to brief with the third one in the list, the Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner in 63 East End Snob. I know there’s been a lot of hype and love for this item, and it’s often sold out in stores but it’s such a perfect muted pink colour. It goes with a lot of other lip colours but looks amazing on its own and as a lip liner it lasts all day, you can find my full review for it here. Available from Boots and Superdrug etc. for £3.99.

Rimmel London Lipstick in 08

This next Rimmel one is a total cheat as I am so in love with it I’ve slipped it in as it’s over budget. The Rimmel London Kate Moss Long Lasting Lipstick in 08, is a creamy pink colour which I really struggle to explain. It is my go to colour, no matter what makeup stand I’m at I pick up this kind of shade but this is by far my favourite lipstick I own of this shade type as it’s so smooth and comfortable on the lips. Available from Boots and Superdrug etc. for £5.49.

I am finishing off with The Body Shop Mango Lip Butter, the best tip balm/treatment I have ever used and it is so affordable. I use this twice a day and it keeps dry and cracked lips at bay, also it smells amazing, so if you have dry lips look no further than the body shop. Available from The Body Shop for £4.00.

So those are my top 5 lip products for near enough £5.00, all amazing products which are really affordable. And if you need any more excuses to be enabled and to go shopping, buying and trying everything on this list would cost you £15.48! You’re welcome.

Whats in My Bag? Spring 2016

It’s been a long time since I’ve done my normal ‘What’s in my Bag’ post but they are such a traditional and nice post to do, it feels like a shame not to do one. If you want to see previous editions including “What’s in My Compact Bag?”  or “What’s in my Festival Bag”  click on each one respectively, or check out all of my past ones here. I don’t think what I keep in my bag tends to change but I always think this is an interesting thing to find out what people lug around, do they carry their whole life in their bag or if they have such a streamlined organised bag and I can do nothing but look on in amazement.

whats in my bag - new look duffle bag

Let’s start with a little bit about the bag itself, I got it as a gift for Christmas and it was greatly received as I wanted a more slouchy type of bag but that was still a practical size and I love this. It is the New Look Pin Stud Duffle Bag, which is a suede type texture and obviously stud detailing it has a super long adjustable strap so you can really make it work for you. It has one internal side pocket and other than that is a good sized space to ram everything in. I’m not someone that has to carry everything but I need some space at least.

the essentialswhats in my bag - essentials

So first up are the usual bag essentials which we might as well get away starting with my phone and keys, my keys are huge so they are easy to find. Another must is my purse, which is a Primark Purse from summer 2014 and it just has everything in it from cards to receipts all in their own special section. I also keep a reusable shopping bag in there at all times, seeing as there is now the bag charge so it’s handy if I pick something up unexpectedly.

keeping organisedwhats in my bag - organisation

With a full time job and a blog I like to make tons on lists and note everything in order to help me stay on top of things. I have my personal planner with my pen attached so I don’t use it, I love this planner to death. (If you want to see an indepth view of my planner click here). As well as my planner I have my blogging note book, to help me make notes on current posts, post ideas and check my blog schedule.

just a little vainwhats in my bag - makeup

I keep thinking about getting a small makeup bag, but as I just carry powder and my current lip product is I just used the inside pocket for now. So I carry my Ruby & Millie Kabuiki Brush, Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory and an assortment of lip stuff. So with no rhyme or reason I have 5 different lip products at the moment including: YSL Volupte Rouge in Lush Coconut, BareMinerals Marvolous Moxie Lipstick in Be a Star, P.S. Love Matte Long Lasting Lipstick in Whisper, The Body Shop Lipstick in (I can never remember), Rimmel London Appocalips Lip Lacquer in Nova. Got a good mix of colours, finishes and budgets for once, and I can change it up during the day.

the bag of useful bits

Finally I have a little (or maybe not so little) Ted Baker Makeup Bag which holds all of my ‘essential’ or useful bits to have in your bag. Most importantly there is medication such as my inhaler, allergy medication and painkillers as well as the basics such as plasters (my friends love me for these) as well as tissues. The usual girly must haves such as hair ties and hair grips, although I tend to go for hair ties as I’m most likely to want to keep my hair out of my way. As well as the not such important but always wanted Peach Delight Hand Gel, Ted Baker Lip Balm, Ted Baker Body Spray and Molton Brown Coco & Sandalwood Body Lotion which to me are all pretty self-explanatory. As one pair never seems enough I have two pairs of headphones and finally a little random but I find them endlessly useful in the form of the Primark Footlets.

So what do you carry in your bag? Let me know in the comments below or link me you ‘what’s in my bag’ post I adore reading them.

Go To Makeup

got to makeup

I was completely stuck on what to post and thought I haven’t done an ‘every day’ routine in a while, I much prefer these as I love known what people reach for and use every day. Also I always find it interesting to see what people do day-to-day as the difference in what people consider to be ‘essential’ varies. My ‘go-to’ makeup is what I wear daily to work, as weekends vary depending on plans from no makeup to the whole hog, so this is daily/work makeup routine.

go to makeup face ft nivea, rimmel and no 7

I feel like this product has started every single one my routines that I have done while having this blog but I don’t think my makeup sits right without it and it’s the Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer, really hydrating. At the moment I am using the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation in Light Porcelain, I love the Rimmel foundations as they really work for me and have a good colour range. This is a good medium with medium coverage so it evens out and isn’t too heavy. Then to finish off my base I use the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer under my eyes, it’s a great brightening concealer although I always tend to have slight darkness I feel though this works well.

Awake and natural is my go to look at the moment, looking fresh faced and youthful while it doesn’t look like I’m trying to yet and a great weapon in my arsenal is the No. 7 Pop & Glow Cream Blush Stick in Classic Rose, not heavy in colour in anyway but it adds a great flush to my face. The other benefit of a cream blush is that it lasts all day, and this one blends effortlessly so not much needs to be done. Finally to lock it all in a use a light dusting off Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory, I don’t use a lot just enough to help make it last. Once my face is on I use my Body Shop Mango Lip Butter ready for whatever I choose to use on my lips once I’ve finished, so they don’t dry out.

go to makeup eyes ft l'oreal paris, collection and bareminerals

The the eyes are super simple too, I use the L’Oreal Paris So Couture Super Liner to line my upper lid. It’s a deep black, as well as easy to use and manipulate to create the desired line and thickness. I tend to keep it simple though with a thin line close to the lash line to help define my eyes. Then for my lower lash line I use the Collection Colour Intense Kohl Pencil, which is my all-time favourite pencil. It just adds a little bit of something, minimal effort which provides a good amount of impact. To finish the eyes I use two mascaras, the old favourite BareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara for my lower lash line as I love the narrower brush, then on my top lashes the L’Oreal Paris So Couture Volume Million Lashes (psst! full review here). Two great mascaras which define and add volume, I just love my eyes in this. The lips are inconsistent some days I use just a lip balm, while others I mix it up it is fairly inconsistent and goes on a whim really.

What are your go to products? What products can you simply not get enough of?
